That's right - Kevin is coaching again. Want to know a secret? I think he likes coaching girls better than boys. It might be that they skip down the court after they make baskets, or have group hugs, or hold his hand and ask him if they "did good." He eats it up. He also eats up the little girl with the mismatched socks. That's her thang now. She told me that's what is cool. Well, Miss Em, your brother has been cool for years because he never matches.
This was after the game. She was worn out since they only had 4 players, but excited because she scored 15 points. She also decided that she deserved an Icee.
Brothers get Icees, too - because they have to sit through games. He thinks that is his cool face. He still doesn't have a girl friend. Go figure.
This is also how he drinks an Icee. Again, it just boggles the mind that some cute little girl hasn't snapped him up. Maybe it they can hear him play his armpit?
*I'm watching the Bachelor while I'm typing this. I can't believe I'm admitting that I not only watch the Bachelor, but I have obviously recorded it so I don't miss an episode. I hope my daughter focuses her energy on basketball and not on being a Bachelorette. I don't think I have to worry about Will. And if my mother is reading this - I'm just kidding about watching the Bachelor. I really only watch PBS.
How fun! I have memories to this day of when my dad was my first-ever basketball coach.

ReplyDeleteGirls are special to daddy's and sweet mercy we need to raise a generation of kids that have confidence, kindness, and a much better moral compass than some of these girls on The Bachelor. I mean if I watched it (that Tiarra girl is crazy).
